JCI Day 2014

JCI Day 2014

We are JCICI and we make things happen. We were asked to do something to celebrate JCI Day.  We brainstormed our asses off and eureka-ed an amazing idea to have a volunteer army. We needed to find something for the volunteer army to do, and we found a worthy cause at ‘På Sporet’.

We needed to find recruits for the army, and we mobilised 15. Fifteen of us created an amazing restaurant and delicious food to feed the homeless.

We then needed to find some homeless people to eat our food, and … eventually … with some searching … we did that too! And now we are immortalised forever in Copenhagen expat news history for making a difference to 30 hungry homeless people. As one CPHPost reader commented: ‘God bless them all’.  Yes, we are JCICI and we make things happen.

The proud team enjoy some food before heading out with the remaining food for the homeless on Christianshavns Torv.
