Chapter meeting January, 2014

Chapter meeting January, 2014

We had former National President of JCI Denmark pay us a visit with a great talk about happiness at the workplace. Author, professional speaker, JCI National President 2011, Jon Kjær Nielsen has given talks for the last nine years on how to increase happiness and engagement at work. He was invited at TEDxSquareMile conference in London, October 2012, where he taught the world that the road to success is through happiness.

The chapter meeting was called Happy Ways with Jon Kjær Nielsen. You can download his presentation and get some free tips and tricks here.

We were at Prags Café on Amager, which is a nice venue for us.

We also had a fine visit from Augsburg, Germany. Andreas Zeitz from the Augsburg chapter was a guest at our meeting. They have had a huge impact on their local community down there.
You can read more about the Augsburg chapter on their website here.

Thank you, Andreas for the visit.

Rune presented a short overview of the upcoming courses, which we will hope to present here once we have the plans.

Sven did a short pitch on the European Capitals Meeting. And if you are still interested in going, you can sign up here.

Jeppe had a few words on our website and our newly created Instagram. You can find it here or follow jcicphinternational on Instagram. It will be a shared account for enyone of our members interested in taking pictures related to JCICI. The login credentials will be sent out via mail as we don’t want non-members joining our noble cause =)

We said hello and welcome to our newest member, Jakob Pilegaard Hansen, who works at Handelsbanken and makes a difference for young people doing volunteer work.

Last but not least we celebrated our Member of the Month, Jeppe Løvstrøm Frederiksen. He was praised for his work with the MIC team and his cheesecake. He was rewarded with a cool smiley fridge magnet.

A big thank you to all who took part in the meeting.
Remember to sign up for our next chapter meeting and general assembly on February 12th.

Keep Being the Difference!
